ANDRÉ FELKER | BACKBONE.ONE

André Felker is one of the few real multi-entrepreneurs. After working as Head of Strategic Marketing at Siemens back in 2002, 2003 saw him founding and running the marketing and communication consultancy SIEBEN. After the sale of SIEBEN to Serviceplan Group, he went on to head up Serviceplan Group Austria as CEO. But André didn’t stop there! He went on to be part of the global management board of Kreisel, e-mobility pioneers in Austria, where he was responsible for brand strategy and business development. Now André is Co-Founder & CEO of backbone.one, a new platform venture deploying the OS for the Internet of Energy, while staying a member of the Advisory Board for U4SCC United for Smart Sustainable Cities.

ANDREY BOLSHAKOV | MEGAWATT

Andrey Bolshakov is a serial technical entrepreneur, co-founder and COO of the MegaWatt.

Previously, he has developed and deployed a wide variety of software solutions for education, digital medicine and industrial safety inspection.

Having 10 years of experience in robotics, computer vision and project management, he is pushing MegaWatt efforts to build a sustainable logistics ecosystem based on self-made electric autonomous vehicles. This year Megawatt team deployed the full-scale V2X testing site consisting of road and data transmission infrastructure, conventional and autonomous connected vehicles. Last month MegaWatt team received two main awards in the Russian data-driven logistics community Autonet for the best autonomous solution and the best embedded solution.

ARNE JUNKER | A.T. KEARNEY

Arne is passionate about technology and driven by seeing ideas come to life. As leader within the global Digital Practice of A.T. Kearney, Arne has advised top executives in automotive on digital business models focused on mobility and connected services. He leads A.T. Kearney‘s Connected Car Services Radar that regularly evaluates global innovation trends and develops recommendations on the future automotive value chain.
Arne’s experience bridges the gap between innovative business models and existing R&D processes, e.g. in the area of technical compliance. As the industry is entering the ‘decade of regulations’, being able to manage the growing regulatory requirements will be one of the key success factors both in core business and in new business models. Prior to joining A.T. Kearney, Arne has gained entrepreneurial experience in Venture Capital, Media and Design.

Axel Tuchlenski

AXEL TUCHLENSKI | LANXESS

Axel Tuchlenski proves that sustainable mobility isn’t only about fuel. After a successful background in chemical engineering, Axel joined Lanxess, a leading specialty chemicals company, with a rich background and 20+ years of professional experience in Chemical industry. Determined to provide innovative polymer solutions for applications in new mobility such as electrical powertrains, fuel-cell cars, charging infrastructure and autonomous driving, Axel and his team are playing an important role to make future mobility even more sustainable. Need an example? As leading manufacturer of Engineering Plastics, Lanxess has also embarked on an enduring mission to shape a Circular Ecomony for polymers. Axel is steering this mission with partners from industry & academia.
Axel holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering as well as profound leadership experience in innovation management, business development & marketing of High Performance Polymers. His current position at Lanxess is Head of Global Product & Application Development focusing on Innovation Management for Engineering Plastics.

Ben runs Startup Sesame, the global network of Tech events. With more than ten years of experience in conference organisation, he has one of the most extensive and trusted networks of event founders in the world, representing audiences of 400,000+ attendees.

An expert in the creative and transportation industries, Ben advises entrepreneurs and investors in the early and growth stages of their projects.

He has been involved in the curation of several international conferences and events, such as Mondial Tech (Paris Motor Show), New Mobility World (Frankfurt Motor Show), Symposium Stockholm’s Brilliant Minds, and more recently, the first edition of the Hanoi Innovation Summit.

CHRISTIAN LESSING | TB.LX

After working the automotive industry for 10 years, Christian Lessing took over tb.lx, a tech company by Daimler Trucks and Buses based in Lisbon, in June 2019 as CEO. The overall goal of this innovative company is creating a sustainable future for transportation through data-driven development. What exactly does this mean? By utilizing their experience in the markets, the right mindset and a good head start in data knowledge, Chris and his team are building bridges between Daimler Trucks & Buses and the ecosystems around both technology and transportation. This in turn gives them a unique understanding of the challenges of modern mobility and logistics.

Motivated by impact and change, he is driving the technology hub towards becoming an important player in the mobility & tech ecosystem. Before moving to Portugal, Chris worked in global projects for Daimler Buses in Germany and Brazil. In his last job he co-founded Mobility Solutions, the innovation hub for Daimler Buses, and created profitable business models around connected buses. In his private time, he thrives for social engagement, living a sustainable lifestyle and spending time in the outdoors.

CHRISTIAN LINDENER | AIRBUS BIZLAB

Christian Lindener is the Managing Director at Airbus BizLab since November 2019. He During his career in the start-up and venture-capital-scene, Christian Lindener got to know thousands of start-ups; he initiated, implemented and advised over 20 incubator and accelerator programs.

As Director at TechFounders, the high-tech hardware accelerator in Munich, he was responsible for the assistance and development of more than 50 high-tech-start-ups. In June 2017 he helped to bring the InsurTech Hub Munich on the way. He is one of the regional leaders of Bavaria in the Federaton of German start-ups.

As the Managing Director for Wayra, he accounted the strategic orientaton, the selection and assistance of the start-ups and young technology corporations such as the increased integration of Wayra within the international start-up ecosystem.

PROF. DR. CHRISTOPHER JAHNS |
XU EXPONENTIAL UNIVERSITY

Christopher Jahns is an entrepreneur and digital pioneer. As co-founder of XU Exponential Game Changers GmbH and initiator of XU Exponential University, he is involved in the transformation of organizations, focusing on education, training and integration in the context of digitization. In previous projects he was a major driver in the areas of supply chain innovation, logistics and mobility. He co-founded the supply management consultancy Brain.Net, which later was sold to KPMG. Other work includes several projects for the World Economic Forum and his role as managing founder of Supply Chain Management Institute (SMI), which has become one of Europe’s most renowned institutes. Jahns received his PhD in strategic management from the Technical University Munich, habilitating in 2004 with a thesis on supply management.

CLARA PÉRON | VALUE FOR GOOD

Clara Péron is the founder and managing director of Value for Good GmbH a specialized impact consulting company that enables companies, public institutions and foundations to address the world’s most pressing challenges. Focus themes are technology for good, sustainable finance, partnerships across sectors and impact management. Value for Good has worked on humanitarian logistics with the UN’s World Food Programme and on sustainable mobility with major automotive companies. Clara started her career as a diplomat in the Canadian foreign service with postings in India, Ethiopia, Kenya and Djibouti. She then switched to the private sector, working for the Boston Consulting Group’s Berlin office for 4 years before founding Value for Good. Clara holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, is a Fulbright scholar and a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader.

KEREM ODABASI | KODECO

Kerem Odabasi is an entrepreneur and pioneer for mobility. He is the founder of KODECO, future mobility company that develops short distance small size mobility vehicles and their integrated shared services.
KODECO’s first product EC0TOUR is solar powered electric three wheeler and its sustainable features let it won the best CleanTech award in SanFrancisco.

ECOMOD is super light weight electric car specially designed for last/first mile shared mobility services. It’s small size, fast accessibility, easy to use features and also durable, low cost componets makes it ideal for sharing in the urban area.

OTOMOD is autonomous drive campus shuttle car and with its four people capacity designed specially to serve for its passenger’s need. KODECO cooperates with FEV, global automotive engineering company, to develop this high tech driverless vehicle. Its first functional prototype is on road test already.

All these mini mobility vehicles can run on ZOOP that curates most effective micro and mini mobility short distance mobility vehicles on one service platform.

FLORIAN RIEDL | ENBW AG

Florian leads the Digital Tansformation of EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG since 2016. Since then, the company has successfully introduced agile work, moved almost all of his tech into the cloud and reached top marketplace positions in Energy Sales, Home-Battery Solutions and e-Mobility.
Florian previously lead Digital and Omnichannel for Vodafone in Germany and before that worked in various roles for Vodafone Group. Florian is Co-Founder and Member of the Supervisory Board of Tallence AG; he was Co-Founder of MatchingUU GmbH (Exit in 2017 to Verve Wireless).

HARRI SANTAMALA | SENSIBLE 4

Harri Santamala, aka “Mr. Robobus” is the CEO and co-founder of Finnish self-driving technology company Sensible 4 – just recently awarded Best Start-Up at the Dubai Word Challenge for Self-Driving Transport (prize: 1M USD). At Sensible 4, his work focuses on developing new technologies to the autonomous driving space that will speed up the highly anticipated and needed shift from fossil-fuel based transportation to a more sustainable model of shared driverless mobility. Sensible 4’s unique software enables self-driving in all weather conditions and is one of the few companies worldwide that offers a full stack autonomous driving system for commercial purposes. Harri is one of the pioneers behind the Finnish road automation ecosystem and was one of the first ones to take automated buses to open-road conditions in 2016.

JAN ERIK SOLEM | MAPILLARY

Jan Erik Solem is the co-founder and CEO of Mapillary, the street-level imagery platform that scales and automates mapping. Jan Erik is a computer vision specialist and a former math professor and has authored several books on computer vision. Prior to co-founding Mapillary, Jan Erik built and exited a facial recognition company to Apple, where he then spent several years leading a computer vision team. He co-founded Mapillary in 2013 with the vision of making map data available for everyone.

JOCHEN KAISER | DAIMLER AG

Bringing more openness to Mercedes-Benz AG and embracing innovation is Jochen’s key driver. With his teams he started the Mercedes-Benz & Daimler API Program as a grass roots project and transformed these into a strategic initiative and platform for the whole company. Given his strong background in Business Intelligence, Jochen is also the person to run Customer Analytics for the whole Sales & Marketing Area of Mercedes-Benz.

JOEL JÄRVINEN | UBER

Joel Järvinen has been the General Manager for Uber in the Nordics for around four years now where he oversees Uber’s operations across multiple cities in Sweden, Finland and Norway with over 2000 active driver-partners and 700,000 users. He joined the company back in 2014, initially focusing on his native country of Finland. Since then a lot has changed after a modern, forward-looking regulation for new transport services was introduced in 2018.
The topic of sustainable energy has accompanied Joel throughout this career, as he cut his professional teeth doing sales and business development in the wind energy sector, enabling access to more sustainable energy in the Nordics. Self-described internationally-orientated technology enthusiast, Joel has more than earned his place to speak on the future of transportation.

KONRAD BERGSTRÖM | X SHORE

At 16 years old, Konrad Bergström left home to pursue a career as a professional windsurfer in New Zealand. The career never took off, but his love of the ocean and willingness to commit to a path have never left him. Today, Konrad is the President of X Shore, a company combining Swedish craftsmanship with sustainable design technology to create the world’s first completely electric luxury seafaring vessels. In steering the maritime industry towards a cleaner, quieter future, X Shore has come to represent a hopeful journey, and one of Konrad’s guiding philosophies: ‘The future is bright for our Earth if we want it to be.’

After trademarking X Shore in 1996, Konrad founded Marshall Headphones and Zound Industries – the fastest growing company in Sweden to date. He left an indelible mark on the technology world, and coined the phrase that has come to define his innovations: “Be the best in design, be the best in functionality”. Konrad returned to X Shore in 2012, producing his first prototype in 2016. In 2018, The Royal Patriotic Society of Sweden awarded Konrad The King’s Medal, their highest honour, in recognition of his entrepreneurial achievements. LAWRENCE LEUSCHNER | TIER

Lawrence Leuschner is the CEO & co-founder of TIER Mobility. Previously Lawrence was the CEO & co-founder of reBuy, Europe's leading online electronics and media retailer.

TIER Mobility is Europe’s leading company for shared micro-mobility services with a mission to change mobility for good. The company plays the leading force in the ongoing transformation of transportation, relieving cities from emissions and congestion, and putting sustainable operations at the centre of its business.

The company is operating in 40+ cities across 12 markets worldwide. TIER Mobility is headquartered in Berlin and employs over 350 people. Recently the company raised another $60 million in a Series-B round led by Mubadala Capital and Goodwater Capital to accelerate further expansion and cement its leadership position in Europe.

As Head of Urban at London & Partners – the Mayor of London’s official promotional agency – Lucette leads the development of a company-wide strategy and programme for the urban sector, covering the ‘smart’ agenda and wider urban development/regeneration.

Prior to this, Lucette was International Partnerships Manager for Future Cities Catapult; and from 2014 to 2017, Project Director for Global Cities Business Alliance – a unique forum where businesses and cities came together to address urban challenges and improve cities’ performance in the global economy.

DR. MARKUS KÜCKELHAUS | DHL

Markus Kückelhaus leads the global research and innovation activities of Deutsche Post DHL and is in charge of the flagship DHL Innovation Center near Bonn. In this role he is responsible for monitoring trends through developing innovative solutions with his team that will shape the future of supply chains. He is the mastermind behind the industry-acclaimed DHL Logistics Trend Radar and an acknowledged thought leader and speaker in the logistics sector.

Markus’ former leadership roles include positions as Head of Controlling at a multinational retailer, Principal Management Consultant in the areas of strategy and finance, and lecturer at the WHU Graduate School of Management in Koblenz as well as the Victoria-University of Wellington. He studied Economics at the University of Bonn & University of Wisconsin, and holds a PhD in Business & Political Science from the WHU Graduate School of Management in Koblenz.

MING XUAN LEE | EDB

Mr Ming Xuan Lee is the Regional Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) based in Frankfurt. While Ming Xuan may have started by studying Material Science & Engineering, which he graduated with first class honours, his experience in strategic industry analysis and business development soon proved he was the right man for the job and so he went from Senior Lead in EDB’s Electronics division to the position he holds today.
Now he is responsible for managing client relationships in Germany with a focus on the Electronics, Digital and Automation Equipment clusters in the Baden Württemberg region, specializing on middle-sized companies.

MITCHELL GORODOKIN | WHITE STAR CAPITAL

At White Star Capital, Mitchell leads investments in Mobility, Smart Cities, and Urban Sustainability. After investing for two years in the New York office, he relocated to Paris to source European investments and support portfolio companies in their expansion to the US market.

Prior to White Star, Mitchell was a Technology Consultant at Deloitte, where he led Future of Mobility and IoT projects for the US Department of Transportation.

Mitchell went on to receive his MBA from Columbia University, where he was the Co-President of the CBS Venture Capital Fellows Program. He holds a BA Degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where he founded a tutoring and mentorship program for underprivileged Baltimore youth. He speaks English, French, and Russian, and is an avid hockey fan, having played Junior Hockey in Montreal.

OLIVIER LE LANN | EVA

Olivier LE LANN, a former Tesla Asia Pacific exec, brings decades of experience in market entries and business development for Japanese, European and American companies.
During his time at Tesla, Olivier realized that the solution to our current mobility and logistics problems is to add a third dimension to our global logistics.
Olivier founded EVA (Electric Visionary Aircrafts) in 2017, driven by his passion to connect the world through a network of control and charging stations for operators of electric drones.
Olivier leverages his years of transnational experience through a strong internationalization approach that will support EVA in its mission to gradually connect cities and countries through a new airborne point-to-point logistics solution.

PEKKA MÖTTÖ | KYYTI GROUP

Kyyti Group CEO Pekka Möttö is a long-term passenger transportation professional and market reformer. He founded OnniBus which disrupted the Finnish intercity bus market by introducing dynamic pricing and strong branding - and was awarded nationally for customer experience and marketing communication. Möttö exited the operator business in 2016 to build a winning team in the new global mobility market. Now the team includes 30+ transport professionals who can scale business, not IT geeks looking to hijack an industry. Möttö’s goal is to disrupt passenger transportation globally through MaaS, or Mobility-as-a-Service. Möttö claims that MaaS can be made easy. It includes three elements, usable with a single mobile app: 1) Route planning. 2) Multimodal service integration with public transit as backbone and 3) Booking and payment. Möttö offers turnkey MaaS solutions for public transit authorities, transport operators, and large enterprises.

ROBERT FALCK | EINRIDE

Robert Falck is the CEO and Founder of Einride, a tech start-up bent on the sustainable transformation of the transportation industry, developing an intelligent road freight system based on all-electric, autonomous trucks, or “Einride Pods”. Before founding Einride in 2016, Mr. Falck was a director of manufacturing engineering assembly at Volvo GTO Powertrain. He has helped founded several start-ups.

TIM KLAPPER | PORSCHE AG

Tim Klapper has spent his entire professional career at Porsche AG, working his way up from an internship to his current position as an IT Service Manager. Here, he among other things works on Porsche’s vision to bridge advanced data insights with digital charging of electric vehicles, offering customers a whole new world of knowledge and a more intelligent way of understanding an using their vehicles. At the moment, his work is naturally focused on Porsche’s all-electric Taycan, the first fully electric sports car brought to consumers by the German carmaker. Data, however, is at the core of Porsche’s business, and together with his colleagues, Tim works tiredlessly to use this to improve performance, get more insights, and to make better and more intelligent decisions every day.

TITTA ANDERSON-BOHREN | WING

Titta Andersson-Bohren is the Head of Local Policy and Community Affairs for Wing in Finland. Coming from a background in politics with several roles last as a special adviser to the Finnish Minister of the Interior, Titta now pitches in Wing's visionary work to bring drone delivery to skies, including how to plan for a more sustainable future, powered by autonomous lightweight aircrafts. At Future Transportation, Titta, will show how Wing is betting on drone deliveries that can reduce road congestion and emissions, as well as create new economic opportunities for local businesses.

MERCEDES-BENZ

Vlado Koljibabic, is the head of Special Purpose Cloud for Mobility and Transportation and he was the leader driving future mobility as the head of CASE IT (Connected, Autonomous, Shared & Services, Electric) in his previous position.

He is very active in enabling partnerships with tech start-ups, helping to bridge the gap between startups and corporates through investments he has lead and is currently sourcing. At Special Purpose Cloud, Vlado and his team are building a cloud that focuses exclusively on mobility and transportation services. The goal is to provide a complete ecosystem for customers and partners by developing and offering mobility and transportation enabling technologies. At Slush, Vlado is looking forward to collaborating with innovative companies and startups. WILKO STARK | INVESTOR & CONSULTANT

Wilko Stark is passionate about changing mobility for good. After working at the Boston Consulting Group in the automotive and mobility practice back in 2006 he went on to Volkswagen Group, where he was in charge for product planning and platforms. In 2002 he joined Daimler AG and Mercedes-Benz Cars, where he was responsible for Corporate strategy, Product planning Mercedes-Benz Cars and CEO of CASE (Connected, autonomous, shared, electric). As CEO of CASE he was in charge for the product group electric vehicles. His last position was Member of the Divisional Board of Management Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement and supplier quality. Now Wilko is an investor in start-ups in the mobility sector.

YOANN LOETSCHER | ENUU

Yoann Loetscher is the co-founder and managing partner of Enuu, a start-up company operating in the micro-mobility sector. After studying automotive engineering at the Berner Fachhochschule (BFH),CH, and engineering management at the University of York, UK, he has gained experience in the German automotive industry (Daimler AG), before launching Enuu with his former colleague at the BFH, Luca Placi, in 2017. Previously, Yoann and Luca founded of a successful student racing team, Bern Formula Student, developing and building electric race cars. At Enuu, Yoann is mainly responsible for the business development, the finance and the strategy of the company, having just successfully closed the pre-Series A round. Investors include VAS ventures and ACE Investment Partners. In his spare time, Yoann enjoys the outdoors, especially back-country skiing and running. He ran his first marathon in July 2019 in San Francisco.
