WHAT IS the
future transportation official side event?
KI group is organizing the official Slush18 side event “FUTURE TRANSPORTATION” where Industry insiders and visionaries discuss innovations and future strategies across all areas of mobility and transportation.
The event features high-end keynotes, 1:1 interviews, panels, a partner and startup showcase area and an exclusive networking dinner for invited guests.
The topics are:
1. Data driven transportation networks
2. Urban mobility and infrastructure
3. Advanced materials for future vehicles
4. Which technologies will win the mobility race?
It takes place Decemeber 4, 2018 3:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Messukeskus, Helsinki, Room Siipi
TICKETS
ATTENDEE PASSES
If you get your attendee passes from KI group, they will be assigned to your email address. You get an information mail from Slush which is your starting point for matchmaking.
STARTUP PASSES or INVESTOR PASSES
For startup or investor passes, you need to apply at the Slush platform - LINK – after your successful application, your passes will be assigned. If you would like to receive your startup or investor pass directly from KI group, please provide us the email address you would like to use for the application.
You will get your badges after your arrival in Helsinki from KI group.

Arrival & Departure
ARRIVAL
Slush takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 4 to 5, 2018 from 10 am to 6 pm. Doors open at 8 am.
The FUTURE TRANSPORTATION side event is scheduled at the first day, December 4, from 3 to 7:30 pm.
We recommend you to arrive on Monday, December 3, before 5 pm at your hotel.
DEPARTURE
If you want to participate in the closing keynote and join the afterparty, you should plan your trip back on December 6th.

MATCHMAKING
TOOL
The Slush Matchmaking Tool helps attendees to propose and pre book meetings at the Slush Meeting Area. It is open to media, startups, investors, speakers and Slush attendees. Through the Matchmaking Tool, you can browse through other participants based on their expertise and request a meeting. This year, the Matchmaking Tool will have a recruitment feature exclusively for startups in order to find new talent.
Access to Matchmaking is included in all ticket types.
Login to platform.slush.org (Use the same email address you received your Slush ticket confirmation at).
Fill in your matchmaking profile – this is what others will see so make it stand out!
Start sending meeting requests! Always remember to explain clearly why you want to meet the other person.
HOW Do i hack slush?
First, get your ticket – you're a part of the Slush event now. Go online and check out the matchmaking plattform. Find interesting people to connect and socialize with. Learn more about speakers and startups at Slush18 and plan your agenda.
When at Slush, we'd recommend to engage with other attendees – from our experience it's the 1:1 conversations which make up a big part of the inspirational Slush experience.

TAXIS
Taxis are available through Helsinki taxi service, on call at +358 100 0700 or by using Taksi Helsinki mobile app. Furthermore, a taxi rank is in front of the Messukeskus.
UBER
You can download the Uber app from App Store or Google Play, create an account and order a ride.
TRAINS
There are excellent train connections to Helsinki from other cities in Finland and from Helsinki airport. Helsinki Central Railway station is located in the heart of the city. Also, all trains stop at the Pasila railway station, just a 300 meter walk from the Slush venue, Messukeskus.
TRAMS
Trams are an easy and convenient way to get around the city and enjoy some Helsinki sights at the same time. Also, trams 7 and 9 leave from the city center and stop in front of the southern entrance of the Slush venue, Messukeskus.
